Behold Chef/Owner Philip Speer’s new Bonhomie Austin! It’s a French Bistro…yet it’s an American Diner.

Either way you slice it, it’s a pretty friendly and welcoming place. It’s a neighborhood spot where you can belly up to the bar and enjoy drinks from Beverage Director/Sommelier Darrin Ylisto, or grab a booth with friends to indulge in one of Austin’s most delicious burgers. Make sure to try the sides – a stack of onion rings, perfect little gnocchi or an adventurous twist on hash browns, the pommes rosti (like foie gras gravy, cognac and a soft egg OR applesauce, yogurt and chive).

Bonhomie, whose name actually means “cheerful friendliness” is currently serving lunch and dinner; weekend brunch is coming soon.

Bonhomie is located in the AMLI Building at 5350 Burnet Road. They accept a small amount of reservations daily.
